Followers of Jesus, we are in a spiritual battle of the ages. The enemy is doing all he can to cripple God’s people spiritually. He doles out demonic darkness to combat the light of God’s love in our lives. He attacks the truths of God’s Word and does all he can to annihilate the followers of Jesus Christ.
The good news is, “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” (2 Corinthians 10:4). God has given us all we need to get and walk in victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil.
So don’t be discouraged and don’t be deceived. God is on your side! He loves you! So leap out of that spiritual foxhole and “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12).
As a follower of Jesus Christ, you are a winner! You are a soldier in God’s eternal, faith-filled spiritual army. God calls us to go forth and conquer the enemy of our souls and set the captives free through the life-changing, soul-saving message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. So cast off the shackles of fear, doubt, worry, anxiety, hatred, unforgiveness, and move forward in the mighty power of the Holy Spirit! Remember! “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)
Jesus Christ is Lord, and one day, “As I live, says the LORD, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.” (Romans 14:11)
