The Lord showed me a picture of what looked like a good-sized plant in a garden. But then I heard the Holy Spirit say, "Pull out the weeds of anger and unforgiveness." It was so clear!
He was saying, "These spiritual weeds are growing fast and overtaking the beautiful fruit of the Holy Spirit in my people's lives." As I heard it, I first examined my own heart for these spiritual weeds. But it was also clear that the Lord wanted me to share this for someone else as well.
If the Holy Spirit touches your heart with this, I encourage you to examine your heart too! Then go to the Lord in prayer and release that anger and unforgiveness to Him. It is choking out the growth of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit in your life. God's incredible Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness, & Self-Control have been stifled.
Through the Holy Spirit's power and by God's grace and mercy, pull up those weeds in the garden of your heart by the root. God, your Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ love you dearly and want you and me to be fruitful in every way. Through admission, confession, and repentance, there is restoration and freedom! Just take a few moments and pray now. Forgiveness, cleansing, and restoration is only a prayer away! Thank you, Lord!
