Hello Friends,
I am a follower of Jesus Christ. He loves me with all His heart and I am doing my best to love Him back. He is perfect and I am not, but by His grace, I am saved and seeking to fulfill the divine destiny He has for me in this life.
I have been married to Anne for 36 years and she has been the biggest blessing in my life besides the Lord. Together, we have three amazing and wonderful children, Megan, Katie, and JJ. My family makes me smile with gratitude that God loves me so much that He not only saved me but gave me the greatest family in the world!
I am the founder and Director of Message Ministries and Missions Inc. We do mission work in Third World areas of countries like Peru, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, and India. I have a big heart for the different aspects of world missions and feel that God’s call to “Go into the world” and preach the gospel needs to be at the top of our list.
I will be writing about things that inspire me, motivate me and sometimes trouble me. I will write honestly and seek to always speak the truth in love and with a heart that does not point a finger but rather reaches out a hand. My desire is to see the followers of Jesus Christ fulfill their divine destinies in this world. Time is short and there is little time for us to be distracted by meaningless things. I’ve spent way too much time in my life wasting precious moments, missing divine appointments and looking to other things for satisfaction instead of my Heavenly Father, my Lord Jesus Christ, and the precious Holy Spirit.
There are times you will say “amen” to the things I write, and at other times you may say “why did he write that?” Like you, I am imperfect and sometimes have a hard time expressing what is on my heart in just the right way and with just the right words. I will do my best to proclaim what I believe is His message. Feel free to disagree with me, only God knows all things and understands all things. Perhaps He can use us in each other's lives to bring a greater understanding of His love, His grace and His plan for our lives.
Let me say in closing, that I do believe that The Bible contains God’s Words to us and I see and use His Word as my guidebook for life. I do not understand all of it and do not claim to be a scholar, but I hold to it and the truth that it holds within its pages. I have been a follower of Jesus Christ since 1975 and He has never failed to reveal the truth I needed when I needed it while seeking Him through prayer and bible study.
