THINK ABOUT IT:
I believe in the eternal policies of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They are explained clearly in His Word, aka The Bible.
As believers, our goal is to follow Jesus, the Eternal King whose rule is forever. Not earthly ones whose power is limited, only for a season and whose ideas and policies sometimes change with the weight of public opinion
God’s Word and His policies never change! “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” Hebrews 13:8. He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and it is to Him and to His Kingdom we are to pledge our allegiance, first, foremost and always.
GOD’S WORD SAYS:
Isaiah 9:6-7 says “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”
We must continue to pray for our leaders as instructed in the Bible and we must continue to trust that God is always in control!
1 Timothy 2:1-2 “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession, and thanksgiving be made for everyone–for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
