The Bible is full of the promises of God. God has seen to it that we would have these promises to help us be at rest in Him in a world that for the most part, does not seek after Him. Some of these promises in the New Testament/New Covenant are there to remind us of who we are according to God’s point of view as members of His holy family. He wants us to stand in Him as we live in this world and these promises are sure reminders of His ways and His calling upon our lives. He loves us and wants to affirm that love in our hearts. One way He has done that and continues to do that is through the promises He has placed in His Word, the Bible. I hope and pray these are a blessing to you! Brian
