Trust God through seasons of change!

Followers of Jesus Christ, trust God through seasons of change!

"Walk by faith, not by sight." (2 Corinthians 5:7)

  • Why doubt the promises of God?
  • Why doubt the efficacy, truthfulness, and reality of God's Word?
  • Why doubt God is in control?

Jesus Christ was Lord, is Lord, and will always be Lord. He is supreme in authority! That's what the word Lord means! Isaiah 9:7 says, "Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end." I believe that, don't you? Yes, there will be no end of His Kingdom and power, and we must continually dwell upon and meditate on that!

We must live each day recognizing we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus, who is Lord of Lords. The most supreme in authority! We have trusted Him for salvation, and our names were inscribed with our Father's heavenly pen in the Lamb's Book of Life. In the Bible, we are called the Ambassadors of Jesus Christ. We represent a Kingdom for which there is no end, and there is no end for us! We will live forever with Him in His glorious kingdom! That thought alone should release a flood of joy and peace into our souls unlike any other this world could give!

Yet until God's Heavenly Kingdom comes, we must spend our time on planet earth as sojourners, pilgrims, as those who belong to and are servants of Jesus Christ, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. We must live for the glory of our glorious God and Heavenly Father. we must "go out in joy and be led forth in peace." (Isaiah 55:12)

So let's continue to faithfully trust God as disciples of Jesus Christ with an allegiance like no other. Let's put our hands to the plow and not look back at seasons that have already passed. Those seasons are gone, and we cannot change anything about them, whether good or bad.

  • We must live in the now!
  • We must look forward!
  • We must press on leaning on and into the promises of God!
  • We must believe God's Word fully!
  • We must run the race and finish the race by the grace and power God gives us through the Holy Spirit.
  • Let's trust him in all things! Amen!!

Let's not forget God is aware of everything happening in the world, and He also knows what is to come. Not all of it will be pretty and full of earthly comfort. Jesus made many promises, including the promise of trouble! Jesus said, "In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." (John 16:33) Yet, in the end, Jesus wins! If we stand with Him, we win too! Amen and amen!

So let's trust and abide in Him! Let's rest and remain in the glorious love of Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. There is no sweeter, no more excellent place to be than resting in the arms of God, the Almighty One, the Omnipotent One, the Omniscient One, the Omnipresent One! He is Jehovah Jireh! He is Jehovah Shalom! He is Jehovah Rapha! Amen!

In ending, I share with you what the Apostle Peter wrote about us, the people of God, the followers of Jesus Christ.

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light." (1 Peter 2:9)

Now, let's go out today with our hearts full of heavenly confidence, God's divine love, power, and in the name of Jesus Christ as light-bearers, representing God our Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Kingdom of God! Amen!
