Lyrics

[Verse 1]
Clap your hands, sing your songs, praise Him joyfully
But don't forget to tell the world they too can be free
Don't hide it in your churches, don't leave it in the pews
Go spread the gospel message, you're the one God wants to use

[Chorus]
So lend a hand and let the people know
Whoa-oh-oh, that Jesus wants to make them whole
So don't just sit around
Watching them as they go down
Whoa-oh-oh, watching them as they drown

[Verse 2]
Rejoice, your name's written in the book of life above
He's shown you so much mercy, He's shown you so much love
He's given you the power to fulfill His plan
Go spread the gospel message all across the land

[Chorus]
You've got to lend a hand and let the people know
Whoa-oh-oh, that Jesus wants to make them whole
So don't just sit around
Watching them as they go down
Whoa-oh-oh, watching them as they drown

[Bridge]
The night is fast approaching, so work while you have day
Jesus will soon return to take His bride away
And all those who rejected Him will stand back and say
He was the one they said He was, now they're gone away

[Chorus]
We've got to lend a hand and let the people know
Whoa-oh-oh, that Jesus wants to make them whole
So don't just sit around
Watching them as they go down
Whoa-oh-oh, watching them as they drown
We've got to lend a hand and let the people know
Whoa-oh-oh, that Jesus wants to make them whole
So don't just sit around
Watching them as they go down
Whoa-oh-oh, watching them as they drown
We've got to lend a hand and let the people know
Whoa-oh-oh, that Jesus wants to make them whole
So don't just sit around
Watching them as they go down
Whoa-oh-oh, watching them as they drown
