This song is about shining the light of God's hope into the invading darkness. It's about encouraging God's people to stand in God's love, strength, courage, and biblical promises.

I believe you’d agree we’re living in notably dark and challenging times. Many are struggling with the changes in the world and are searching for light in the darkness and hope to lift them. In these difficult times, God calls the followers of Jesus Christ to be the light of the world. Jesus said, "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden” (Matthew 5:14). It’s time to shine for God!
