The main exhortation is to return to our first love, Jesus Christ! Put Him first in everything, including financial and major life decisions. Many American Christians spend a lot of time building into their own personal kingdoms and not God's. If our main focus in life is that, in eternity, we will see the waste of energy that was.
Many American Christians spend their lives on entertainment while spending very little time in God's Word, prayer, and active service in God's Kingdom.
We need to repent and go back to serving God wholeheartedly and surrendering all to fulfill God's plan! That includes preachings the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ to those around us and sending it to those who have never heard it in places like the 10/40 window.
Start today because procrastination is the devil's tool to put off God's will in our lives to a future time. What if the Lord comes for you or me tonight? Then it will be too late!
